About myself

Having taught in a British Independent school for the last sixteen years and a total of 30 years in the teaching profession for key stage 3, 4 and 5. I have mastered the skills required  to help students achieve their maximum potential as a result of preparing  hundreds of students to take  public examinations and achieving outstanding results including some going on to achieve ‘Best in the World’ Cambridge award.

My strengths and how I teach

I am quick at gauging the student’s level and then helping them to

1. master the required mathematical skills by building on their prior knowledge needed to solve various problems.

2. teach them to apply what they have learnt and make it relevant their syllabus and examinations.

3. understand mathematical concepts by building an excellent rapport with the students in order to make the Mathematics enjoyable and easy to comprehend.

 

My speciality

 

I have a BSC honours in Mathematics and a PGCE in Mathematics education. I have taught across all key stages including GCSE, IGCSE and A Levels to pupils of various abilities. During the Covid lockdowns I have taught online for over a year and prepared students for public examination including making final examination papers, assessing and grading students according to Cambridge examination board standards.
