Tutor Profile.

I am a fully qualified teacher, with over fifteen years’ experience. I taught in the classroom for seven years, before I started teaching online. I have a BA honours, Qualified teacher status and a CELTA. I teach English and maths at all levels, up to GCSE. I have significant experience teaching SEN students and ESL. I believe that education is not a “one size fits all” and am a massive advocate for alternative provisions, that give young people the support a nourishment they need to progress and reach their goals and dreams.

I feel it is vital to provide young people with the additional support they may need, to aid inclusion and promote equal opportunities. It is also so important to stretch and develop bright young learners, to challenge and assist them in reaching their potential. I want my lessons to inspire young people and make them want to learn. I think learning should be fun and make my lessons as interactive and energetic as I can. I want to provide
an enjoyable and engaging environment, where students feel able to express themselves and comfortable to learn. I am passionate about what I do and committed to helping others learn, adapting
