Tutor Profile.

Hello! My name is Rebecca and I am a qualified teacher with recent experience of teaching KS3-4 Geography and History. I have a BSc in Geography with Geology and am aiming to undertake a Masters in Climate Change and Development.
 

I am passionate about Geography and the Humanities as subjects. I have recent experience of teaching the full AQA GCSE Geography specification and the full Edexcel GCSE History specification. I am also an examiner for the AQA GCSE Geography specification.
 

This experience as an examiner has enabled me to develop a deeper understanding of the skills, knowledge and techniques needed for exam preparation.

My experience has been mainly in alternative provisions, particularly working with young people with SEN and young people who are unable to attend school for medical reasons. I am passionate about high quality education being accessible to all.

I am very enthusiastic about the Humanities and I believe that Geography and History are such important subjects in enabling young people to develop their own sense of place in the world.
