About Alice
Hello! My name is Alice, and I am joining the SAT team as Primary Level tutor, KS3 English tutor and Psychology GCSE tutor! I have completed a degree in Primary Education leading to Qualified Teacher Status and an MSc in Psychology.
I have over 5+ years of teaching experience in different school settings, have extensive experience tutoring online and have achieved Outstanding in many of my lessons. I also have vast experience with supporting SEN children and take pleasure in helping children of all abilities progress past their expected levels.
My subject specialism is English; however, I am also capable of teaching mathematics to a high level and have experience with teaching the many different maths schemes used across the country. Due to the nature of my degree, I am also up to date with all the latest requirements of Standardised Testing such as SATS, Common Entrance and Phonics Screening Tests.
My own pedagogy and teaching style could be described as interactive. I believe in a hands-on learning experience for all of my pupils and focus a lot of my lessons on discovery learning.
