Chemistry Tutor

Hello, my name is Angelika and I’m a Chemistry tutor. I recently joined the SAT team as a Chemistry A level tutor. I graduated with an MChem degree at the University of Manchester (UOM) and I just recently completed my PhD in Chemistry at UOM.


My tutoring experience includes 1 year of Chemistry GCSE tutoring and 2 years as a teaching assistant at the UOM. Also, I was nominated as one of the “most outstanding graduate teaching assistants” by my students at the UOM for the academic year 2019-2020.


My teaching philosophy is to help students not to know more, but to know better. I want to give my students the best learning experience and for the lessons to be a fun and exciting hour of learning science. I am very approachable and friendly, and I try to make my tutoring lessons as interactive as possible. I am incredibly committed to helping my students and I believe to teaching to each student’s abilities.

Tutor Review

We used Sammie Allen Tutoring for A level Maths and Physics tutoring and study mentoring. Hajira and Angelika really helped M improve and were very supportive, improving his confidence and marks. Sammie is very responsive and flexible and coached and mentored M in study and planning techniques. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them, we are very satisfied with them.
