Hollie Blockley

Hello my name is Hollie, and I am joining SAT as a KS3 & GCSE Maths, Science & Psychology tutor. I have completed a degree and Masters in Psychology which included modules on various developmental disorders. 

I have over 6 years of tutoring experience. I have also worked as an Assistant Psychologist in NHS working with children with SEN and mental health needs. I enjoy helping students reach their goals to help them to progress to where they want to be. 

My subject specialism is Maths, although I also enjoy tutoring Science & Psychology. I always incorporate everyday examples into my teaching to make the subject matter more meaningful and easier to relate to. 

I believe that my teaching style is very down-to-earth and interactive. I enjoy learning about the student’s own hobbies and interests to help engagement.

In my free time I enjoy being outside. I live on a farm at home and enjoy being around animals.
