Laura Langton

Hello! I’m Laura. I have been a Science teacher for 6 years, teaching all 3 disciplines of science successfully to KS3 and KS4. My particular area of specialism is biology.

I have written science curriculum for 3 years that have been praised by OFSTED and used by many teachers.
 

I have also supported KS2 science leads to deliver excellent teaching to children in year 5 & 6. Because of this, I am very familiar and confident with teaching the KS2 science curriculum. I can also teach maths skills at KS2 and KS3.

 

I teach energetic, engaging lessons that use lots of lived examples and modelling to help children learn. I can help with exam techniques and practice being an examiner for AQA. Students have fun in my lessons, while learning lots! Having a nursing background, I can also bring learning to life.
